Even jetted corectly, Jardine pipes turn crusty. High heat (1500 degree) BBQ paint slows it down, that's all. I'm the one who originally said to coat the inside of the pipe. Don't waste your time, if you want the pipe and muffler to stay silver, get them ceramic coated. It is the only method that truly works. I like the discoloration, gives the bike a well loved (ridden) look.
